Silver-tone D-rings hang from riveted tabs at the center front, where the two sections meet, and on each side. Behind the neck, two leather straps with slot holes fasten with metal buckles, while rolled leather edges trim the top and bottom and a smooth, raised leather panel covers the inside. The flared skirt should rest on the shoulders without digging in. With little view downward, the wearer should stay seated or move slowly beside a partner, away from stairs and steps. Wear it for short periods, take it off immediately at any dizziness, lightheadedness, numbness, or jaw or neck pain, never sleep in it, and never leave the wearer alone while it is on. Avoid it with neck, spine, jaw, or breathing conditions, and never pair it with anything that restricts breathing. The D-rings are decorative only; never attach anything that pulls on the neck, and never use them to bear weight, for suspension, or to tie the wearer to anything.
